About the event

About the Event

Are you ready to start searching for your first home but aren't sure how or where to start? At our pre-approval clinic, we provide you with a one-stop shop to get you started. The mortgage broker on site will provide you with a mortgage pre-approval so that you know how much you can afford when purchasing a home. The real estate salesperson on site will be there to answer any of your real estate related questions and set you up with a home search of current listings matching your criteria.

The Clinic will consist of:

  • 30 minute pre-approval appointment with a mortgage broker
  • 30 minute appointment with a real estate professional to set up your home search

Items Required:

  • Employment documents: letter of employment, paystub, last 2 years T4
  • If self-employed: last 2 years T1 General, last 2 years notice of assessments
  • Proof of downpayment: bank statement of last 90 days, investment statements from last 90 days
  • Other documents: mortgage statements, property tax bills, separation agreements, lease agreements, Canada child tax benefit statements

Start an action plan on how to get there and talk to the right professionals to get things started.  Our team of experienced professionals will answer all of your questions as they relate to purchasing real estate in Ottawa.

There is no obligation to purchase a home or sign up with either professional, it is solely an information session to provide you with the guidance to get started on your home search.
